Very blue layout

I was so lucky to get some crafty crop time with my Meet-up girls last night,
it was quick for me because I had to work,
but I was able to churn out this layout!
It's amazing to me what I find around the studio when I am packing for a crop!
This super cute photo was what I found.
I especially used up a bunch of things that I've been hoarding,
like the viewfinder, and the shells, and especially the little bit of ribbon that is beind the shells!

Here's a little closer view of that collage of goodies!
Ahhhh, there is that little bit of ribbon! And some shells that I've been hoarding as well!
I hope to replace those shells when I head to Florida in a week to visit my sisters and mom!

Finally, I had to add the title in my glittery letters!

And these three flags I have been hoarding for quite a while, and they are the last
of the pack! Ohhh but they are perfect for this layout, so I have decided to part with them!
Are you getting your crafting on today?
What are you creating?

Put a feather on it

Tuesdays are my late day at work
(I go in 2 hours later than normal!)
However I tend to wake up about the same time,
Sooooo I took a little bit of time and made this little ATC!
I heat embossed the feathers, then inked over them with
Peacock Feathers, Raspberry, and Honey Distress inks!
(If you don't know this, the embossing acts as a resist)
Then a little bit of Vintage Photo around the feathers,
and the sentiment stamp at the top.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love ATC's for a quick creative release!
I hope you are getting crafty today!
It's my Friday at work, so Yeah for the weekend!

It's my party

Happy Thursday all my bloggy friends!
I had a snippet of time to craft today, and I went at it!
My girlfriend Sasha was admiring a bookmark I was using at work last night, and
she showed me her bookmark.... it was an old napkin!
That simply is not acceptable, so I let her rifle through my digi's and she pointed out this one
This of course immediately brings to mind the song "It's my Party" by Leslie Gore.
I colored her up using my copics, prismacolor markers, and a bic fine tip sharpie!
I die cut her out, and also the little sign is a die cut as is the heart!
The graphic black and white background was some tissue paper that DH was gonna throw away... I saved it from a life of misery in a landfill!!!
Here is the close up of the digi!
I'm still struggling with coloring hair....
I hope you like what you've seen today!

Quickie thank you

I fell in love with these butterflies when I was in the store, and the background paper
Was perfect with the butterflies!

So, it's a super simple card, but I love it!
Hope your crafting today!
It's a great way to relieve the stress of the holidays!

31 days of Halloween: Day 3

I've made it to day 3!! I know that doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment,
But for me it is!
Today I'm sharing another Pinterest inspired creation!
This was a can of beans! Yes it was!
But any tin can will work!
So go eat a can of soup and come back!

This guy was super easy and fun to make!

Paint your can green!
Cut a little piece of felt for the hair (I happened to have some with a swirly design)
Attach the nose. Do this first, or his face may come out lopsided
Then the eyes, and then grab your sharpie it draw on the mouth and some extras
Finally add a little pink on his cheeks (I just used some distress inks)
And finally the ears!!
There is of course a story behind the ears!
I had some pretty orange earplugs all picked out and sitting on my craft table....
I walked away.... When I came back they were missing!
I was able to find one, but the kitty isn't giving up the other, so lucky me I
Found this yellow pair in the nightstand.... There was no sitting around, I hot
Glued those bad boys right on!
Hope your enjoying the Halloween posts!
