Citrus bright

Well, it's definitely summer!!
Yesterday I was running some cold water to make my coffee,
and even though the faucet was all the way cold, the water was very much NOT cold!
Ahhh so it is in the summer in the desert!
What's your favorite summer treat???
Mine is popsicles!
I love them in raspberry, and chocolate, and lemon...
I made this fun layout... it may not be popsicles, but it's pretty darn close!
I'm lovin all the citrus colors!
Can you see where I paper pieced the dilly beans image?
Isn 't she cute??  Plus this is a super easy way to get out of coloring!
Not that I don't love me some coloring, but paper piecing sure takes the work out of it sometimes!
Here are some more pics!
 and
A bright fun addition to my growing scrapbook..
I'm starting to think there is supposed to be a theme to my book, but then again, maybe it should just
be willy nilly??
Do you have themed books, or do you just scrap them as they come??

  5. Awesome page!! The paper piecing is so fun and cute! I love shaved ice and popsicles, but my favorite is homemade ice cream with fresh fruit in it!

Some of my albums have a theme, but most of them don't coordinate-takes the whole 'matching' pressure off so I can create as the mood strikes me instead of following a pattern.
