Happy Birthday and a new challenge at Anything But a Card

Good morning!
Happy Birthday to me!
Yep, that's right, I'm another year older,
and you all get the present!!!
I have a present for one of you
I picked up some of my favorite things to share with you!
A Tim Holtz stencil, and rub ons,  then there is a stamp set, and some wood veneers that are hearts and arrows.
What do you need to do to win??
Well, just follow my blog, and leave me a comment telling me what your favorite cake is.
Mine by the way is vanilla cake with vanilla frosting!
And I live some great icecream to go with it of course too!

So many of you may have found my blog through the new challenge at Anything But a Card
this month the challenge is Green with Envy,
and I'm sharing a fun little canvas that I made.
Green isn't a color that I use a lot in my crafting, so this was a bit of a stretch for me.
But I recently got some of Dina Wakley's scribbly birds,
and I thought it would be fun to stamp and then paint the birds up.
I found some little canvas' (5x7) at Michaels, and went to town.
I have to admit the stamping part was a little messy and uneven,
but once I started painting it was so fun and soothing!

I hope you all join in the "Green" fun, and join the challenge,
and don't forget to leave a comment with your favorite cake!!!

The Birthday giveaway will close on March 14th.

  8. what a cute piece with the little birds.
For the cake choice - it would have to be banana cake with peanut butter frosting.

  11. Happy Birthday Diana...love your little canvas. Super birds and great sentiment! What a lovely present you are offering - but I would be happy with some of my Mum's cake - Not sure which is my favourite - sponge, cherry, seed - they are all delicious! If I have to choose one, I would go with orange...
