Some odd girl, paper piecing and spray inks

I have been getting inky! 

Yep, I pulled out the spray inks yesterday and went to town.

I tried to make this fun bokeh background,

And it seems to have been a success. 

I stamped the some odd girl owl on a scrap of paper, built a little background for it, and finished it all off with a little hi stamp and some vintage buttons!

I also want to share this birthday owl card. 

The background is again sprayed with my delusions, 

But see where I added a bit of a grid pattern at the bottom?

Then this owl is paper pieced, a fun technique that I remember being scared of at one time.

 Finally the happy birth day is stamped in two different fonts.
