Pink stripes

Hubby had to run an errand, so I hopped back in the craft room and whipped up this fun card!
I used my Denami Stamp, and a sort of ombre effect on the butterfly paper
for the background I used my coredinations cardstock which I ran through a dotty embossing folder
then sanded!
I layered them and added a little bit of twine in between.
Then I finished the edges off with some black and white dotty washi tape!
Ahhh I love the washi!

Finally the sentiment is from a Simon Says "Thank You" pack of stamps!
Cute, fun, and very pink!!!

Thank you

Hey everyone!
Wow it's been a week!
We got a mini vacay to Cali in, I had my last day at work,
And I'm getting ready to start my new job tomorrow!

I wanted to thank our California friends for opening their home to us,
So I made this fun card....
Inspired of course by our fabulous days and evenings at the beach!
The image is from dilly beans and for the current Mermaid challenge,
The sketch from Tuesday morning sketches,
The use of the embroidery floss and tag for the challenge at  timeless twine,

The small stamp for Simon says Stamp and Show
The pins for Simon Says Stamp
Cute card Thursday good luck charm
And finally it's feminine for the July card challenge at Bo Bunny!
Whew! That was a lot!

The crafters cafe challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today I have a card to share with you for the design team at The crafters cafe challenge
Where the challenge is thanks
I colored up this fun image from The stamping boutique
I also wanted to challenge myself to make a card quickly!
That is the challenge at Pretty pink posh where they've challenges us to make
A card in 10 minutes or less...
I came in right under the wire at 9:43
And that included coloring the image!
I know right??

I also of course wanted to play along with the challenge at Simon says stamp
Where the challenge is a sketch..

Here's a close up f the coloring, I think not too bad for a 10 minute
Card!
Hope you're having a great week!
