A piece of advice you have for others..
Anything at all
Communicate!!!
Wow this is the life and death of all relationships! Can I get an amen to that?? You guys know this... why don't we practice it?? Why do we let ourselves get hurt feelings, and pent up frustration??
My grandmother passed away a few years ago, and she had a long standing feud with her sister. They hadn't talked in decades, and they never talked before she passed. This sister is my closest relative to where I live in Arizona, and I've had the opportunity to get to know her over the last few years. Honestly I probably have gotten to know this aunt better than I ever knew my own grandmother. I to this day still don't know what the feud was over. But I often wonder how many wonderful memories and adventures these sisters would have had if they had simply said "I forgive you, let's talk this over."
How many relationships could be saved by simply talking out what the problems are? Husband and wife, mother and daughter, father and son, sister and brother... friend to friend! Instead we seem to speculate, and jump to conculsions that can not be even remotely true! And then we talk.. and talk... and talk about it... but not with the person our "beef" is with, but with all the others around us.
I know quite often I may come off as a bit blunt, and my sense of humor is a bit on the snarky side. But I know that when there is a problem, it can only be solved by those involved. And the only way is to talk through the problem.
So Communicate! Call your mom, send and email to your sister, make a card for your brother (or contact me, I'll make one for you to send!) and hug your significant other, tell them you're sorry! Why?? Just because... Because an apology can fix almost anything that's wrong! We all have regrets, and wish we could have done something differently, so why not just ask for forgiveness and move on? God gave us that mouth for more than kissin, so get to talkin... get to communicatin! And then get on with livin!
Proverbs 10:19-21
When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value. The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment.

Communication is key! I find it sad when families fall out or don't get along.life is too short :(
