The Mothers day Cards are now officially in full swing!!
This card is for a co-worker's step mother,
who is a quilter, and love kitties
I cut squares out of 4 different patterned papers, and then glued them
down in a diagonal pattern.
I added the stitching around the sides,
and colored the kitty up with my Copic markers.
That was die cut out, as was the backing paper
(yep, that's right, I did 5 different pattern papers!! Whew!)
Finally I added the little saying, and the buttons along the bottom.
Here's a close up of the kitty
I found the sketch over at Retro Sketches
and I'm linking up with the National Scrapbooking day Challenge over at Studio Calico
to Use 5 different patterned papers.

Your friend's mother will love this custom-made card! How cute is that kitten?? Great job on the quilted background. It looks authentic!
